Meet The Team

Dr. Colton MacLean

Dr. MacLean believes physical activity is a lifelong process and one of the most important things you can do for your health. Maintaining an active lifestyle may lead to a few aches and ailments along the way, but Dr. MacLean believes it is essential that patients understand that their bodies are strong, adaptable and resilient.

Dr. MacLean grew up in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where he spent his winters playing hockey and summers water skiing and boating. His love for hockey led him to Fort Qu’Appelle to play for the Fort Knox for 4 years. This is where he quickly found the benefits of chiropractic care. After playing hockey, he made his way back to the classroom to pursue a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree – majoring in human kinetics from the University of Regina

With several family members in health care and guidance from others in the chiropractic field, Dr. MacLean decided to further his education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. Graduating in 2020 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.

Due to his love of athletics and outdoor activities, Dr. MacLean dedicated himself to gaining a better understanding of exercise prescription, rehab and soft tissue treatment by spending countless hours reading research, completing courses and listening to professionals that have been working in the field for many years.

Dr. MacLean is committed to helping all of his patients achieve their healthcare goals, regardless of what they might be. Dr. MacLean’s treatment consists of a detailed history, to help him gain a better understanding of you, your ailment and what it is preventing you from doing. He then works together with you to help you take control of your pain while you are away from the clinic. While you are in the clinic, Dr. MacLean takes a multi-faceted approach utilizing chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue therapy (FAKTR/MRT), rehabilitative exercises, taping, laser among other things!

In his free time, Dr. MacLean enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going for runs, playing hockey, waterskiing and genuinely enjoying the outdoors. Dr. MacLean loves providing evidence based, ethical care to individuals of all ages and abilities.

Dr. Shane Taylor

Dr. Taylor attended the University of Regina and graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1996 with Cum Laude and Clinic Honours. After graduation, Dr. Taylor returned to Regina, SK where he currently practices full-time at Victoria East Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Taylor has a special interest in sports injuries, concussions and helping with return to play guidelines. Dr. Taylor uses diversified chiropractic technique, along with SOT, Impulse Adjusting Instrument and utilizes Custom Orthotics, IFC, ultrasound and K-laser in managing his patient’s conditions.

Dr. Taylor was a board member for Chiropractors’ Association of Saskatchewan from 2002 to 2011 and served as their President from 2007 to 2011. Dr. Taylor has served his profession in Saskatchewan by working on several committees since graduation including government negotiations, which he still helps with. Dr. Taylor has twice been awarded “Chiropractor of the Year” by his peers in Saskatchewan, once in 2004 and again in 2010 when the award was changed to Dr. Donald Bramham Award of Excellence.

Dr. Taylor was elected to Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association (CCPA) Board in June 2011, was appointed to Vice President in June 2013 and currently sits as President since January 2015. Dr. Taylor is also currently a member of CCPA’s Succession, Governance and Trust Committees and has worked on the LA and Risk Management Committees.

Dr. Taylor and his wife Shelley celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2022 along with their adult children Braeden, Mckenzie and Connor. Among living with a busy family and work, Dr. Taylor has volunteered to coach minor hockey for seventeen years. Dr. Taylor has also volunteered as the Chiropractor in Chief for the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championships, the 2005 Summer Games and the Canadian Western Agribition Rodeo all held in Regina. Dr. Taylor has also served on the board of the Breakfast Club of Regina for several years.

Dr. Sarah Lombardi

Dr. Lombardi attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and Northwestern Health Sciences University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2021 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology. Dr. Lombardi is originally from Waukesha, Wisconsin where she grew up a very active individual playing tennis, basketball and soccer. She the made the move to Regina in August of 2021 after getting married to Dr. MacLean.

Dr. Lombardi believes movement is essential in the healing process and strives to promote this with her patients. She takes special interest in treating athletes and weekend warriors of all ages as well as patients from all backgrounds. Dr. Lombardi utilizes a number of different techniques when treating patients including but not limited to, chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies (FAKTR/MRT), laser, taping, and rehabilitative exercises. She is committed to helping her patients achieve their individual healthcare goals and will support her patients in returning to their daily lives and normal functioning as soon as possible.

In her free time she enjoys going for runs and spending time outdoors, relaxing with her husband and puppy, and taking trips to visit her friends and family in Wisconsin.

Dr. Sylvianne Poirier

Dr. Sylvianne Poirier attended the University of Regina to complete her bachelor in Kinesiology and Health Studies and then attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in fall of 2016 where she graduated with Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Poirier took interest in Chiropractic when she was competing at a higher level of figure skating in her teenage years.

Dr. Poirier grew up in small town Redvers, Saskatchewan playing a variety of sports. She took part in figure skating for most of her younger life, then switched to playing club rugby in the summer and university rugby in the fall. Her new hobby has been CrossFit, she enjoys the complexity of gymnastics, weightlifting and cardio.

Dr. Poirier recommends movement as the key to prevent and help injury, blood flow is crucial for recovery. She believes the way to heal the body is not only affecting the nervous system but diving deeper within the body. Dr. Poirier has a vast range of therapies she utilizes to aid in the person’s recovery process, including chiropractic manipulations, instrument assisted manipulations, soft tissue therapies (FAKTR/MRT), laser, chiropractic acupuncture, rehab, and taping therapies.

Dr. Poirier is very excited to be starting this new journey at Victoria East Chiropractic Clinic and looks forward to providing Chiropractic care, in a caring and friendly atmosphere.

Dayle Elise Haye R.M.T

Dayle joined our team in September 2021 and is accepting new patients and is approved to treat SGI and WCB as well.

Dayle Elise Haye graduated from McKay Career Training in 2013 and spent the first 8 years of her career in Saskatoon before moving to Regina in April 2021 for love.

She started her training young working on her mom's feet and knees before realizing massage was truly her calling.  She has since helped many desk/office workers finding relief for back pain and managing headaches. She has enjoyed completing extra courses in  Myofascial cupping and hot stone therapy.

Tanner White R.M.T

Meet Tanner White, a passionate and dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy. With a love for fitness and a background in mixed martial arts and hockey, he truly understands the importance of body and wellness. When he is not in the clinic helping patients achieve balance and health, you'll likely find him working out, or indulging in his love for cars. His unique blend of professional knowledge and personal passions makes him a standout in his field.
